Professor dr hab. Saturnin Zawadzki received a Doctor Honoris Causa title of Agricultural Academy of Krakow

On the 25'th February 2002 Professor Saturnin Zawadzki, the member of Polish Scientific Academy (PAN), previous head of the Institute and long-term employer of our Department, received a Doctor Honoris Causa title of Agricultural Academy of Krakow.

The ceremony was conducted by rector of the Academy professor dr hab. Zbigniew Ślipek in the presence of Academy Senate and the Council Board of the Faculty of Engineering and Energetics in Agriculture.

Doctor Honoris Causa gave a lecture on the role of Professor Bohdan Dobrzyński in agro-physics as an organiser of scientific investigations. Professor Bohdan Dobrzyński was a remarkable soil-expert and Doctor Honoris Causa's scientific master.

Apart from numerous outstanding scientists, family and friends of Doctor Honoris Causa the Academic Chorus conducted by Professor Zbigniew Ciurab added the honour to the ceremony. Professor Zawadzki received numerous list with congratulations.
