The Normalization, Technical Certifications
The IMUZ has the Irrigation, Drainage and Hydro-technical Construction Standardization Body. The Body collects the standards and catalogues of standards in the fields of interest to the IMUZ, issues opinions regarding the Polish Standards proposals prepared in other agricultural institutions, issues opinions about international standards (ISO, CEN), prepares recommendations to permit exclusions from standards, to allow changes to standards, to modify, cancel or renew standards, as well as advises on required standards, etc.
The Institute is also authorized to issue technical approvals on melioration construction products. In 1999 - 2005 twenty three technical approvals have been issued. |
